Discussing the merits of the underlying action of the service documents with the person being served is avoided. |

An explanation of the general nature of the documents may be given but only when necessary and appropriate. |

Engaging in unnecessary discussion or conversation is avoided. |

9.4 |
Service documents are handled with care. |
|

9.5 |
Service attempts are made on days and at times when it is likely service will be made. |

9.6 |
The duration of the contact with a servee is kept to a minimum. |
|
|
9.7 |
Attempts to contact a neighbor, or otherwise gather relevant information, will be made no later than the third service attempt. |

| 9.8 | Record is made of the details of each service and attempted service. This includes details such as the person’s description, what was said during conversations, vehicles present, and any other information which might prove useful in supporting a service, accomplishing a service, or establishing diligence. | |
